Research Theme

In this study, I will develop the 2D pulse-shaping technique to control the amplitude and phase of ultrafast laser pulses both in space and in time. Based on this pulse-shaping technique, I will aim to perform third-order optical spectroscopy in a microscopic region. It will enable us to obtain 3D image of the sample without scanning. Furthermore, this technique will offer a new possibility of spectroscopic measurements, coherent control of chemical reaction and various relaxation processes in the microscopic region.
